Start Your First Business: Youth Entrepreneur Day Camp Set for May 27 in Wewoka

Wewoka, OK – Young aspiring business owners are invited to a one-day, hands-on Youth Entrepreneur Program hosted at the OSU Extension Office in Wewoka on May 27, from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Open to youth ages 11 and up, this engaging camp focuses on self-development and life skills, with a practical approach to launching small-scale businesses.
Participants will learn to design flyers and business cards, price services, build simple budgets, and develop marketing strategies. Ideal for those interested in babysitting, lawn care, pet services, and more, the workshop helps turn creative ideas into real income-generating ventures.
The camp fee is $15 and includes lunch. Scholarships are available upon request.
Organized in partnership with OSU Extension 4-H Youth Development and sponsored by Arbuckle Federal Credit Union, the event aims to empower local youth with valuable entrepreneurial tools.
